His deep expertise in energy trading and market dynamics allowed him to thrive in senior roles, including Director of Trading at Fortis and trader positions at Cinergy and TransAlta. This extensive industry background serves as the foundation for his current work in clean technology and sustainable energy investments.

As the President and Co-Founder of Moonshot Hydrogen, Rene is at the forefront of developing low-cost, clean-burning hydrogen through innovative organic and biological processes. His hands-on experience in cleantech startups enables him to understand the unique challenges facing entrepreneurs in this space and provide strategic guidance for success.
